Cat didn't want to come home for the holidays. She wanted to stay away as long as it took to finish her novel, become a best seller and prove once and for all that she was just as good (if not better) than her golden child big brother. But when her brain gets in the way with writer's block just before the deadline, she has no choice but to come home, possibly for good. She doesn't think her agonizing week at home can get any worse until she runs into her high school bully, who happens to be her brother's best friend, eating breakfast in her kitchen.
